I live for an audience of One, whether speaking on the air, on a mic, with a person, or on blank pages!

I love to partner with God to build things, like big ideas, meaningful shows, and great women.

Healing is the central theme in my entire body of work because I desperately needed it, too. Jesus has carried me through the deepest valleys, healed my heart, and transformed my life.

Pain drove me to the arms of Jesus. Loss taught me how to trust Him fully. Mistakes led me to His grace. Obedience introduced me to joy. Forgiveness set me free.

I want women to know that if He will do it for me, He will do it for you!

After years of playing The Bluebird as a songwriter, I had a vision for this show. We toured with it for 7 years before it went to television in 2014. We featured a Roster of 35 pro-level Nashville songwriters. The TV show reached 100 million US households and was syndicated for 2 years in 3 countries. I loved every minute of hosting, singing, and "doing life" with these incredible artists as we worked through our struggles together as friends.

What a great night tonight with good friends as we welcomed the former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich to Tennessee. The event took place at the stunning former estate of Alan Jackson. So many great folks from the music and entertainment industry were there, along with many of our state and federal legislators, and prominent leaders. No egos tonight, just a shared love for our great country and a desire to save it for our kids and grandkids.

A dear friend reminded me how precious it is to know what it is to become a mother. The excitement of carrying a precious child through pregnancy, the exhilarating moment you see your child for the first time even though you feel you know them so well already, the bond you share with absolutely no one else on the planet, and the hope you have for them as they grow.

Although my heart hurts today because I miss him, I'm choosing to remember beautiful moments with my son, tender cuddles, giggles, and those times he looked at me with such love in his eyes.

Losing relationship with him has challenged every ounce of my faith...and it has also made it deeper and so much stronger. I KNOW Jesus intimately now because there is no other possible explanation for my peace in light of so much emotional loss. He comforts me and I wouldn't trade this intimacy with Jesus for anything now.

I want all mothers who have been "canceled" by their kids to know this: their choice does not negate your motherhood.

And remember...there is nothing more powerful than a mother's prayer over her child. When it looks final, remember that God is the miracle worker and nothing is final for Him. He resurrects, He restores, and He redeems. While we wait, don't stop praying.

We cannot lose hope. Teach them about authentic faith even in this hard season by modeling it for them. Love always wins in the end. Believe for it. 🩷🌷🌸🩷 and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
